Back-to-school fund for Madeline
Madeline won a place at San Francisco Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Madeline earned a place in the first year of senior school at San Francisco Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $950, which is more than they have.
Madeline loves design and technology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $950 goes:
• Laptop: $450
• School uniform and shoes: $260
• Textbooks and workbooks: $160
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Brian
Good news. Because of your gifts ($328 in total) the plan for laptop is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
