Back-to-school fund for Macharia
Macharia won a place at Kasarani Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Kenya938 views
Macharia earned a place in Year 11 at Kasarani Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have.
Macharia loves graphic design and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $105
• School uniform and shoes: $50
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Love from Guarulhos
