Back-to-school fund for Lydia
Lydia won a place at El Paso Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States976 views
Lydia earned a place in Form 4 at El Paso Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $850, which is more than they have.
Lydia loves mathematics and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $850 goes:
• Laptop: $460
• Textbooks and workbooks: $310
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
Thanks for reading all this.

Stay strong, Dylan. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
how is Lydia doing now?

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Lydia?
Thank you. If you're in El Paso I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Appreciate you taking the time.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Mardan this morning
