Back-to-school fund for Lộc
Lộc won a place at Hanoi Science Academy but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at Hanoi Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $60
• Textbooks and workbooks: $50
• School uniform and shoes: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. After 29 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
You're not alone, Lộc. Study hard!
