Lina earned a place in Year 10 at Kassel Science Academy; we're $900 short on required supplies.

Lina earned a place in Year 10 at Kassel Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have.
Lina loves biology and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $510
• School uniform and shoes: $190
• Textbooks and workbooks: $200
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
Updates from Melanie
Good news. Because of your gifts ($332 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Kassel: we've started the first stage. We're at 28% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

keep going. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Wishing you the best. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Albany but we're thinking of you. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Melanie. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Newport
Hang in there, Melanie. Looking forward to the next update.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
