Back-to-school fund for Letícia
Letícia earned a place in Year 10 at Curitiba Science Academy; we're $400 short on required supplies.

Letícia earned a place in Year 10 at Curitiba Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $400, which is more than they have.
Letícia loves coding and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $400 goes:
• Laptop: $200
• School uniform and shoes: $80
• Textbooks and workbooks: $90
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($87 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Rooting for you. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. After 12 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Gangnam.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Letícia
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. laptop comes first ($200) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
You're not alone, Alexandre. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out.
I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Curitiba.
You're not alone, Alexandre. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
