Back-to-school fund for Khadija
Khadija won a place at Heliopolis Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Heliopolis Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $100
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Hang in there, Khadija. I hope things turn around soon
Sending love, Khadija. Your post was clear and honest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
Praying for you, Khadija. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
