Back-to-school fund for Karl
Karl won a place at Uppsala Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Uppsala Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $350, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $350 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40
• Textbooks and workbooks: $180
• School uniform and shoes: $130
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Karl
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. calculator, stationery and a school bag comes first ($40) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
looking forward to the next update. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
