Back-to-school fund for Jackson
Jackson won a place at Christchurch International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇳🇿 Canterbury, New Zealand274 views
I earned a place in Year 10 at Christchurch International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $800, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $800 goes:
• Laptop: $440
• School uniform and shoes: $145
• Textbooks and workbooks: $150
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $65
I hope life is good to you.
