Back-to-school fund for Isaiah
Isaiah won a place at the Los Angeles Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at the Los Angeles Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $800, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $800 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $145
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $75
• Laptop: $580
Thanks for being kind about this.

how is Isaiah doing now?
Thinking of you. Your post was clear and honest. Take care
Sending love, Isaiah. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Dhaka so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Polokwane
