Back-to-school fund for Irene
Irene won a place at Coyoacán International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Irene earned a place in Grade 9 at Coyoacán International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have.
Irene loves biology and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Laptop: $140
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
I hope life is good to you.

So sorry you're going through this, Verónica. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care.
