Back-to-school fund for Hatice
Hatice won a place at Bursa Technical College but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Bursa Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $50
• Textbooks and workbooks: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
