Kyiv
I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Kyiv Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $205, which is more than we have. I love mathematics and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $205 goes: • Laptop: $130 • School uniform and shoes: $35 • Textbooks and workbooks: $35 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Galina

Take care, Galina. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings

Hang in there, Galina. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.

You're not alone, Galina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Kyiv.
