Back-to-school fund for Emmanuel
Emmanuel won a place at Quezon City Technical College but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Quezon City Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $20
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Laptop: $110
Thank you for reading my story.
