Back-to-school fund for Deborah

Deborah earned a place in the first year of senior school at the Louisville Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,300, which is more than they have. Deborah loves biology and wants to become a doctor. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $1,300 goes: • Laptop: $700 • School uniform and shoes: $210 • Textbooks and workbooks: $270 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $120 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
