Duque de Caxias
Cláudia earned a place in the first year of senior school at Duque de Caxias Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $250, which is more than they have. Cláudia loves design and technology and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $250 goes: • Laptop: $175 • Textbooks and workbooks: $45 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Mateus
