Back-to-school fund for Beth
Beth won a place at London Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at London Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $700, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $700 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $90
• Textbooks and workbooks: $180
• Laptop: $430
I hope life is good to you.
