Back-to-school fund for Barry

Barry earned a place in Grade 9 at Cork Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have. Barry loves design and technology and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $900 goes: • Laptop: $370 • School uniform and shoes: $210 • Textbooks and workbooks: $280 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
