Newcastle upon Tyne
Arif earned a place in Form 4 at Newcastle upon Tyne International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,000, which is more than they have. Arif loves design and technology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $1,000 goes: • Laptop: $480 • School uniform and shoes: $195 • Textbooks and workbooks: $240 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $85 If you're reading this, thank you.

Stay strong, Rubel. Study hard! After 23 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything
