I earned a place in Grade 9 at Bordeaux Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $850, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $850 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $140
• Laptop: $660
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there, Alice. This could happen to any of us. Take care.
Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Bordeaux.
Hope things get better soon, Alice. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Greetings from Jeddah.
