Back-to-school fund for Alexander
Alexander earned a place in Grade 9 at Oakland Technical College; we're $850 short on required supplies.

Alexander earned a place in Grade 9 at Oakland Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $850, which is more than they have.
Alexander loves chemistry and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $850 goes:
• Laptop: $520
• School uniform and shoes: $100
• Textbooks and workbooks: $140
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $90
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Thinking of Oakland!
