Alexa earned a place in Year 11 at the San Jose Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,050, which is more than they have. Alexa loves robotics and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $1,050 goes: • Laptop: $730 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $55 • Textbooks and workbooks: $265 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Sending good thoughts, Silas. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.

    • Rooting for you, Silas. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of San Jose

      • Thanks for sharing this, Silas. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
