Back-to-school fund for Alejandra
Alejandra won a place at Ciudad de México International School but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Alejandra earned a place in Form 4 at Ciudad de México International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have.
Alejandra loves chemistry and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• Textbooks and workbooks: $55
Every share and every dollar helps.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Padua.
Hope things get better soon, Claudia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Ciudad de México
Hope it all works out, Claudia. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
