I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Kathmandu Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $65
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

How is Aarati doing now?
Thanks for sharing this, Aarati. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out.
your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Jacksonville this morning. God bless!
Praying for you, Aarati. Study hard! Thinking of Kathmandu
Best of luck, Aarati. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from San Francisco!
