Back to business - Yolanda's comeback in Cali

A flower stall in Cali needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after a break-in.

Cali
For three years I have run a flower stall in Cali. In July, a break-in took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $700 goes: • Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $360 • Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $120 • Shop repairs and licensing: $75 • Working capital for the first month: $145 Every share and every dollar helps.

Updates from Yolanda

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 44% funded and the plan for replacing display cabinets and a cooler is now scheduled.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($205 in total) I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 14% now ($95). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
