Back to business - Ximena's comeback in Birmingham
Ximena lost display cabinets and a cooler to a fire in the building and needs $3,650 to reopen a flower stall and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a flower stall in Birmingham. In February, a fire in the building took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $1,950
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $670
• Shop repairs and licensing: $420
• Working capital for the first month: $610
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts, Ximena. This could happen to any of us. Blessings
rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope May is when things finally get easier. Love from Saket
so sorry you're going through this, Ximena. Hope you get there. After 19 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Sending love. Small businesses are the heart of Birmingham. Hope you're open again soon. God bless.
Stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Birmingham
You're not alone. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Dasmariñas so I could bring a meal
Keep going, Ximena. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
