Wawan has run a laundry service for fifteen years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

Bogor

For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Bogor. In June, a fire in the building took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $450 goes: • Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $320 • Shop repairs and licensing: $50 • Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $80 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Update from Bogor: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 32% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($107 in total) I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Quick update: $57 raised so far (13%). I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Receipts coming as soon as I have them. - Wawan
