Back to business - Tanvi's comeback in Nashik
A street-food cart in Nashik needs help replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators after a break-in.

For three years I have run a street-food cart in Nashik. In April, a break-in took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $260
• Working capital for the first month: $95
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

best of luck, Tanvi. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
Thanks for sharing this, Tanvi. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Love from Pune.
take care, Tanvi. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings
Thinking of you, Tanvi. Small businesses are the heart of Nashik. Hope you're open again soon. After 10 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Thinking of you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 29 people at work. All the best.
sending strength, Tanvi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
