Back to business - Tamar's comeback in Tel Aviv
Tamar has run a laundry service for twelve years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $2,800 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a laundry service in Tel Aviv. In May, the demolition of the market took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $1,800
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $400
• Shop repairs and licensing: $310
• Working capital for the first month: $290
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

small businesses are the heart of Tel Aviv. Hope you're open again soon. Love from Dallas.
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. After 25 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Nagpur.
