Back to business - Şule's comeback in Istanbul
Şule lost a soldering station and testing tools to a fire in the building and needs $500 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Istanbul. In August, a fire in the building took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $200
• Shop repairs and licensing: $130
• Working capital for the first month: $170
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
