Back to business - Shilpa's comeback in Pune
Shilpa has run a street-food cart for four years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a street-food cart in Pune. In August, the demolition of the market took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $155
• Initial stock: ingredients: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Working capital for the first month: $140
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you, Shilpa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
praying for you, Shilpa. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Greetings from Jakarta.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Tlaquepaque donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Shilpa. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Jakarta Barat so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Corpus Christi
