Back to business - Shazia's comeback in Gujranwala
A sewing studio in Gujranwala needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after the demolition of the market.

For fifteen years I have run a sewing studio in Gujranwala. In July, the demolition of the market took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $360
• Initial stock: fabric: $40
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Working capital for the first month: $115
If you're reading this, thank you.

Hope it all works out, Shazia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours!
I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Nairobi so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Gujranwala
Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Rawalpindi.
