Back to business - Shawn's comeback in Cardiff
Shawn lost a freezer and scales to the demolition of the market and needs $3,700 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For six years I have run a fish stall in Cardiff. In October, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $2,350
• Initial stock: the first catch: $620
• Shop repairs and licensing: $400
• Working capital for the first month: $330
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Shawn
Quick update: $1,365 raised so far (37%). I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
