Back to business - Shaista's comeback in Rawalpindi
A bicycle repair shop in Rawalpindi needs help replacing a full set of tools after a long illness and repossession.
🇵🇰 Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan1,906 views
For fifteen years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Rawalpindi. In May, a long illness and repossession took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $370
• Initial stock: spare parts: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Working capital for the first month: $40
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

41% there. I made the first payment toward replacing a full set of tools. Thank you.
Thank you all. We're at 19% now ($105). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
