Back to business - Sawsan's comeback in Heliopolis
A neighborhood bakery in Heliopolis needs help replacing a commercial oven after a break-in.

For nine years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Heliopolis. In July, a break-in took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $300
• Working capital for the first month: $70
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $30
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Sawsan
Small update. $95 so far, we've started the first stage.
Thank you all. We're at 18% now ($70). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for replacing a commercial oven is now scheduled.
