Back to business - Salma's comeback in Narayanganj
Salma lost a commercial oven to a fire in the building and needs $250 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For six years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Narayanganj. In February, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $45
• Replacing a commercial oven: $145
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $60
If you're reading this, thank you.

Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
