Back to business - Sakshi's comeback in Ludhiana
Sakshi has run a sewing studio for four years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a sewing studio in Ludhiana. In August, the demolition of the market took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $180
• Initial stock: fabric: $130
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $70
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

so sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Wudil so I could bring a meal. God bless
Wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. Love from London.
Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Mombasa
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Ludhiana.
