Back to business - Sade's comeback in Port Harcourt
A fish stall in Port Harcourt needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇳🇬 Nigeria822 views
For three years I have run a fish stall in Port Harcourt. In September, a storm that collapsed the roof took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $280
• Working capital for the first month: $35
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
