Back to business - Raquel's comeback in Santos
Raquel lost a freezer and scales to floodwater and needs $700 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Santos. In July, floodwater took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $460
• Initial stock: the first catch: $140
Every share and every dollar helps.

Keep going. Small businesses are the heart of Santos. Hope you're open again soon. Don't give up. Love from Lille.
Small businesses are the heart of Santos. Hope you're open again soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Raquel. Hope you get there. Thinking of Santos
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Hubballi.
