Back to business - Rafaela's comeback in Caruaru
Rafaela lost three industrial sewing machines to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $1,000 to reopen a tailoring shop and support the family.

For four years I have run a tailoring shop in Caruaru. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $180
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $660
• Working capital for the first month: $160
With deep gratitude,
Rafaela

So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope October is when things finally get easier. God bless.
You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Tokyo but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Caruaru.
Wishing you peace, Rafaela. Shared this with my family. Blessings
hope you make a strong comeback. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Wishing you the best, Rafaela. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. All the best.
