Back to business - Piumi's comeback in Galle
A phone repair counter in Galle needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after floodwater.
🇱🇰 Sri Lanka702 views
For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Galle. In February, floodwater took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $75
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $470
• Shop repairs and licensing: $105
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

so sorry you're going through this, Piumi. I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Cairo.
Sending strength, Piumi. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't give up.
