Back to business - Paraskevi's comeback in Piraeus
A neighborhood bakery in Piraeus needs help replacing a commercial oven after a break-in.
🇬🇷 Piraeus, Attica, Greece1,647 views
For nine years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Piraeus. In November, a break-in took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $710
• Shop repairs and licensing: $260
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $180
Every share and every dollar helps.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Paraskevi?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about replacing a commercial oven, advice is welcome too. Ask me anything else.
