Back to business - Olga's comeback in Athens
Olga has run a tailoring shop for four years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $1,700 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a tailoring shop in Athens. In February, the demolition of the market took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $840
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $320
• Shop repairs and licensing: $210
• Working capital for the first month: $330
Glad we found this place.
Updates from Olga
Thank you all. We're at 29% now ($498). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
19% there. I made the first payment toward initial stock: fabric and thread. Thank you.
