Back to business - Oksana's comeback in Salerno
Oksana has run a barbershop for nine years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $2,300 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a barbershop in Salerno. In May, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $1,300
• Initial stock: supplies: $470
• Shop repairs and licensing: $270
• Working capital for the first month: $260
If you're reading this, thank you.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Oksana?
Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Salerno
Take care, Oksana. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Keep going, Oksana. Your post was clear and honest.
So sorry you're going through this. Small businesses are the heart of Salerno. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
