Back to business - Okechukwu's comeback in Epe
Okechukwu has run a laundry service for nine years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $300 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a laundry service in Epe. In February, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $165
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $75
• Shop repairs and licensing: $30
• Working capital for the first month: $30
Thank you so much.
Updates from Okechukwu
Thank you all. We're at 63% now ($189). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
