Back to business - Noel's comeback in Calamba
Noel has run a tailoring shop for nine years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a tailoring shop in Calamba. In August, a long illness and repossession took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $75
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $115
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $260
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Rooting for you, Noel. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Calamba.
can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Calamba.
You're not alone, Noel. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Hyderabad.
Rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Palermo so I could bring a meal. All the best.
thinking of you and your family, Noel. Hope you get there
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Calamba.
