Back to business - Niamh's comeback in Cork
Niamh has run a barbershop for fifteen years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $2,500 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in Cork. In July, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $880
• Initial stock: supplies: $800
• Shop repairs and licensing: $350
• Working capital for the first month: $470
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
Updates from Niamh
Update from Cork: I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. We're at 4% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

Sending strength, Niamh. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
