Back to business - Naveed's comeback in Mardan
Naveed lost a cold-storage unit to the demolition of the market and needs $400 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For six years I have run a small grocery stall in Mardan. In April, the demolition of the market took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $200
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Working capital for the first month: $85
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Praying for you, Naveed. Your post was clear and honest. It's not much but it's yours. All the best
Best of luck, Naveed. Small businesses are the heart of Mardan. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Mumbai.
