Back to business - Myra's comeback in Tiruchirappalli
Myra has run a small grocery stall for four years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $700 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a small grocery stall in Tiruchirappalli. In July, a break-in took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $510
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $60
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Hang in there, Myra. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 37 people at work
Wishing you the best, Myra. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
so sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Campinas.
Rooting for you, Myra. Hope the shop reopens soon. Take care.
