Back to business - Mega's comeback in Bandung
Mega has run a laundry service for four years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $300 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Bandung. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $145
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $45
Glad we found this place.

Hope you make a strong comeback. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best
Small businesses are the heart of Bandung. Hope you're open again soon. Thinking of Bandung.
hope things get better soon. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
